Castaway Rock was inspired by my childhood in the Coromandel. I wanted it to feel like a child’s daydream.
Castaway Rock follows Tara and her uptight brother Weston, who eventually put their differences aside.

Castaway Rock is a proof of concept work for a short animated TV series. It looks at themes of change, loss, and growing up, explored through the journey of two siblings stranded on a magical island.
