Kia ora! I am a lively and intuitive filmmaker dedicated to making work that matters. Growing up just out of Whakatū Nelson there wasn’t much to do so I fell in love with film. Particularly the way film could connect people. Behind all that I do is people, from the crews I work with to the subject of the documentaries I make, people are my focus. I believe everyone has a story to tell and I intend to help tell it. You can usually find me holding a camera but my passion to learn has seen me in every role on set.

Working in the camera department across four diverse projects has deepened my technical and creative knowledge. Each project presented a new challenge to overcome and new people to work with. By being director of photography, gaffer, and 1st AC I was able to learn how to communicate my ideas effectively as I understood the experience from every angle. Being part of these projects has fueled my love of storytelling through the eye of a lens.
