Within my project I looked into mafia tailoring, to explore the idea of power and respectability through modern day suiting. Inspired by Sicilian gangsters who used suits as representation of power, I focussed on fur and structure and exaggerated my lapels. I created three bespoke looks that merge old mafia during with modern day silhouettes, redefining masculinity and authority through precise tailoring and a rimless sophistication.
