My project explores the identity and expression of Pasifika youth through fashion inspired by cultural heritage, spirituality, and connection to Te Taiao. I worked with sustainable materials and traditional references such as weaving to create contemporary garments that celebrate belonging and pride. Through this process, I learned how fashion can carry stories of resilience, identity, and community while honouring ancestral knowledge in modern design. My work speaks to Pasifika youth, encouraging pride, connection, and belonging through fashion and indigenous wisdom.
