Fashion Design
This project explores the democratisation of fashion through protest, looking at different movements across the 20th century. This forming the idea of fashion protest giving clothing meaning, purpose and an expression of self. Thinking about today’s fashion industry with the extreme mass production and trend cycles, clothing has lost its meaning. Individuality is not found as often in fashion because of continuous trend cycles.
