This collection explores fragility and femininity through new materialism and sustainable practices by embodying the individuality and forms of wildflowers. The transience of beauty is expressed through each look being a stage of transformation in the blooming cycle. I saw op-shops as my garden, upcycling nearly all second-hand fabrics. Choosing an all-white palette, I reclaimed femininity as a source of strength and resilience instead of white flowers’ symbolism of purity.
