My intention for this project is to confront our relationship with single use plastic. I wanted to contradict our current view on this cheap resource by glamourizing it, using 1930s costumes as my inspiration. For a long time now I have had an interest in using unconventional materials for wearable garments for this project I have taken the opportunity to explore how plastic can become more than just waste.
