softness, strength, and self-reflection intertwine, echoing Dolorosa’s exploration of imperfect femininity and collective healing.
Blush satin and black lace collide; delicate yet unruly. A portrait of femininity reimagined as armour.
Polka dots, chiffon, and ruffled edges, a flirtation between innocence and rebellion, where femininity laces itself together with quiet confidence and grace.

Dolorosa examines the tension between fragility and power within femininity. Inspired by my first collection, Be a Lady, It Can’t Hurt, this work reflects on beauty standards and the expectations placed on women. Through corsetry, lace, and blush fabrics, I reinterpret vintage shapewear as soft armor. This project became a personal act of healing. Transforming old ideals of perfection into vulnerability, strength, and self-acceptance.
