This collection reflects Indigenous ways of knowing and practices, emphasizing mindfulness of the natural world and a deep understanding of our relationship with it through lived experience. It draws on the history of the Navajo people, honoring a perspective that finds beauty in all stages of life. Rooted in gratitude, it speaks to the journey of returning to a place of home, both physical and spiritual as a means of healing, reconnecting, and reclaiming identity. Through this process, the work acknowledges resilience, continuity, and the enduring bond between people, land, and memory.
