Anna Nakano-Broers

I worked as Producer the short films 'The Lot'. The Producing role in 'The Lot' helped me get better understanding into the more planning side of filmmaking. It also allowed me to work relatively closely with different creative departments and helped with further developing communication skills. Being a part of this project as has confirmed my decision to further pursue Producing in my future. 'The Lot' peeked my interest as it explored a very real world senario that can be interpreted into many different types of relationships. I learned how much organising really matters and even the slightest challenge could take a large amount of time and resources to overcome. Though Producing was definitely a challenge it was rewarding in its own way.

'The Lot' is a dramatic, but a relatable portrayl of a couple that lacks communication which turns into a mess. Jay, suffering from a broken leg orders Riley, the girlfriend to go and get snacks for a party they are already late to. It's a simple task, but with every attempt being a fail the couple quickly decends into tention before their relationship completely falls apart.
