Carlos Knight

Carlos’s practice responds to the incongruous moments and findings of sculptural potential in shared urban and domestic environments that he passes through daily. There is a willingness to pause amid schedule and let the world do most of the composing, and then a wry impulse to act. In using retired objects from these findings, he hopes to go beyond the readymade and explore material culture, the public/private, and human vestiges.
