Dressed in droplets (ceramics and tī kōuka.) Reaching out to nature’s phases. Enjoying the uncontrollable elements of life as well as the moments they bring.
Spring (uku and twine.) Observing plants unfurl; glistening in dew, listening to the earth and renewing themselves.
You and I (sketch.) Thinking about trees, their forms and what we can learn from them; as our own roots and branches affect our surroundings.

Trees,
protect those amongst shadows,
providing pillows of splayed sprigs,
branches swashing with wind’s arcane,
ripples radiate;

Streams,
bounce over and around stones,
bubbling after prosperous leaps,
winding through bodies of innate,
caressing terrain;

Leaves,
dress in raindrops like sequins,
dancing with breeze,
illustrating webbed sequences in frame,
soaking in the scene;

We,
move with each other,
moving parts of one another,
rhythms of nature unseen,
all one in the same.
