As an industrial designer who has dyslexia, I wanted to see how I could create something to help kids learn during dyslexia tutoring. Through direct collaboration with dyslexia tutors, I was able to develop a toy that can help bring physical interaction to word based learning. Dyslexi-Lumber helps children learn in the way they find fun and easy, and asserts the importance of toys in the education of neurodiverse children.
