Step’n is a footwear design project, focused on older adult fall prevention in the home. The project explores a new entry system to make footwear more accessible, removing the need to bend down, whilst integrating stability features for everyday use. Designed through ideation, prototyping, and expert feedback, Step’n provides a comfortable and accessible footwear solution that increases stability, promotes confidence, and helps to reduce falls in older adults.
