I had the opportunity to study and explore how design can improve the rehabilitation equipment return service in Wellington, managed by the Central Equipment Pool (CEP). Through a multidisciplinary approach, I worked with Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora to identify barriers such as awareness gaps and logistical challenges. I developed service blueprints and return receptacle designs that demonstrate how clearer communication and accessibility can enhance service efficiency and sustainability across Aotearoa’s healthcare system.
