Dotted Lines is motivated to move with, rather than against non-human ambition. Informed by Donna Haraway’s concept of situated knowledges, it proposes an alternative strategy to conventional conservation. A 4.8-kilometer farm fence becomes a deconstructed interface, repurposed to question colonial ideals and environmental passivity. Through a non-human perspective, this project reimagines architecture as a means of listening to, and collaborating with the living dynamics of place.
