Spatial Design
Dis/Order is a series of performed explorations that disrupt the practices of habit, repetition, and familiarity within the context of the mundane. Informed by personal experiences of migraines, the project examines how habits emerge within familiar environments and how they change when performed in unfamiliar contexts, interrogating their effect on temporal rhythms and perceptual patterns. These performances, and their installation suggest alternative ways of understanding identity, memory, and experience.
