Spatial Design
This project explores queer identity through paint in public space, reframing it as a dynamic agent of dialogue and inclusion. Grounded in queer theory, it responds to questions of identity, diversity, and belonging. Situated in Toi Art at Te Papa, the exhibition design and participatory time-based immersive installation use 'paint skins' to materialise embodied thought into spatial conditions. Through encounter, experience, and exchange, it nurtures connection and unfolding queer expression.
