Spatial Design
This project explores how urban wellbeing can be achieved for both people and the natural environment in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington. Guided by the kaipupuri taonga ki te ao whānui (Mauri Tūhono) framework, it envisions transforming Cambridge and Kent Terraces into a green spine through the city. The daylighted Waitangi Stream and its environs allow for moments of pause, play, and connection between the community and nature, helping to restore ecological and social wellbeing.
