Duel Life explores the emotional and sensory negotiation of living between two cultures — China and New Zealand. Through spatial design, contrasting materials, and hybrid furniture the installation reconstructs domestic atmospheres within a gallery setting. Visitors move from compression to openness, guided by shifts in light, sound, and scent, experiencing how memory and identity intertwine across cultural boundaries.
