Textile Design
Nature That Nurtures is a sensorial interior textile collection exploring the ties between nature and wellbeing. Three sections: Lichen, Canopy, and Forest Floor, feature four coordinates; an 8-shaft table loom weave, a TC2 jacquard loom weave, a rug-tufted carpet tile, and a Nuno-felted piece.
I used natural materials (wool, silk, and cotton), and through each medium I reimagined natural forms, patterns, colours, and textures to elicit positive reactions and uplift wellbeing.
